Ry took me to a concert this week to see one of my favorite bands who just happened to be playing at our Alma Marter, SJSU. When we started at SJSU we had been married just a couple of months; so concert night also became a walk down memory lane. We recalled late night homework sessions, proffesors who are etched into our memory for good or bad, the tiny apartment that we lived so happily in, and the tears and laughs we shared trying to figure out what being a grown-up really means. We were learning a lot more than academics.
Our life together was just getting started all those years ago and now we were back on campus with a little one on the way. We have been married over 7 years. We are still laughing together and there are a few tears now and then. As far as having things figured out, the more I learn the more I discover how much I have to learn.
We had a great time at the concert. It is so good to hang out with a person who thinks that I've got 'whatever it is.' I am so happy to share my life with him and we are both so excited to meet this new little life.

Aw that's so cute! "Whatever it is." Hmm... That's a song my the Zac Brown Band. It's a good song; if I do say so myself. (: So have you figured out a name for the new little bundle of joy that's going to be brought into this world? Is the baby a he or a she? Let me know this kind of stuff! (:
